Bicycle Activity

In recent years, riding bicycle becomes fashionable activity. You can see many people riding bicycle with full set of equipments in scenic spots. Even in the community or in the park, you can also see people riding bicycle at night. Bicycle business is one of the few profited industries in the depressed year.

There are three famous bicycle pathes in Taoyuan county, including the path in Da-Xi, in Xin-Wu and in Guan-Yin. Each has its' feature to let you get different satifaction. What I like most is the path in Da-Xi , because it is nearest for me. It is pure bicycle path and there are no other motorcycles and cars to get in. As you can see on the photo, it is along river and wild grasslands. You can take a deep breath here. Another bicyble road in Da-xi is along the Shi-Men Reservoir, but it's much shorter.

The bicycle path in Xin-Wu is famous as its' Green Tunnel. I am not sure if I went the wrong way, because I found a very short Green Tunnel. It's special that you can ride bicycle in a path tracing the sea though there are many cars go through. There you can enjoy the scenery of dock and get some fresh sea food easily.

The last bicyble path in Guan-Yin is the only one I have not gone to. According to the introduction on the web, it should be between the lotus field. You can take a look at the view of flower sea in July when it blooms. Which bicycle path are you interested in ? Are you ready to take a visit there ? It's time to prepare your package and ride your bicycle there.

Culturing Fish

It’s common to have plant or raise little fish on the desk in our office. By that way, we can relax more. At first, I had just a little glass bowl with only three tails of fishes. Because one of them bore about 7 tails of fishes, I bought a bigger fish box with some design and good water circulation.

As you can see on the photo, there are two kinds of fishes, shrimp, spiral shell, turf and some grass in the fish box. It’s really interesting to decide the design of the box. Each of those has its’ function and finally becomes natural ecological environment.

After culturing fish, I learn a lot such as why we should raise shrimp and plant grass. Shrimps would eat some materials from the excrements of fishes so the water would be cleaner. The grass is the best shelter for just born fish to escape from big fishes.

It is very interesting to watch them eating the feed. Sometimes it is like that they are playing football game. This is because one fish would vomit which it just ate. Another fish eat it immediately and vomit it again. It repeats many times between some fishes.

Right now, we have raised the fish about one year. Sometimes I am calm because watching them swimming unrestricted.

My Little Garden

My little garden actually is the edge of my outdoor garage and the little meadow on the roof. In my little garden at the edge of the garage, there is flowers as golden queen, touchmenot, winter pot , snake plant which are cheap and beautiful. Most important of all, they are easy to take care of. The need only half-day sun light and the florescence is longer than many other kinds of flowers.

On the roof, we plan some sweet grass such as rosemary, basil and capsicum. Though we don’t cook often at home, it is very useful when we need just a little. The meat soaked with rosemary, tastes really different from traditional Chinese food.

Because we have these flowers and sweet grass, we sometimes can see insects shown there. We once saw bees, butterflies, snail, earthworm, allomyrina- dichotomus and big moth. Those really made me surprised and pleasant. You can see some of them on the photos.

Planting flowers has many kinds of purpose such as enjoying the sight, being cooking materials and so on. However, what I cherish most is to contact with nature and have the great feeling of surprise and happiness.

What I think about the theory of relativity.

In the beginning of 20th century, there is a great theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein, reveal the theory of relativity. He thought even the time was not absolute. That really made everyone shocked in that time and changed our life further. In China, there is one philosopher, Lao-Tzu¸ who also taught us much life philosophy such as Pride hurts and modesty benefits.

In the modern time, we often expand the application of the theory of relativity to many regions. Take my latest feeling for example, through several cool days, last weekend became so warm that I can feel deeply. If the weather is all the same, I cannot realize how it’s so warm at last weekend.

In our real life, we may be dejected and all the glory leaves us away. However, there is still many people show their good will to us. You would be much more touch about it. No matter how the hard situation is, all we can do is just face it bravely and do what we should do. We should live our life seriously every day. After all, present is God’s best present.

As long as we see at the bright side, there is always better policy for any hard situation.

Travel in Hokkaido Japan

There are three subjects to take a trip in Hokkado Japan in Oct. Those are scenery of maple, delicious meal of crabs and soaking in the hot spring. I am pleased to enjoy all of those in my trip in this Oct. Because I once went to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Okinawa in Japan, I anticipate Hokkado might be similar with those places. I actually don’t have much expect for this trip in advance. But I was amazed while the airplane was near the sky of Hokkado.

Hokkado is much different with those I once went to in Japan. The endless scenery of maples and rivers become beautiful portraits. Specially, when I approach to the trees, I found that most red are not maple leave. It’s little red fruit of Sorbus commixta. And some maples could only turn yellow instead of red. Though It’s almost end of Oct. , we can still see the Fall scenery.

The emperor crab of Hokkado is famous worldwide. We were allowed to have as much as we can in one dinner. Its’ meat was very juicy and much bigger than other kind of crab. Everyone was very satisfied with that dinner. When we backed to our hotel equipped with hot spring, I fell asleep soon because of full dinner with much Japanese sake. Some people chose to enjoy hot spring before going to bed.

We lived in different hotels in the four nights and all of those have special feature in their hot spring equipment. In the midnight, it’s so cold that you cannot help to soak in the hot spring. I like the outdoor hot spring. I can enjoy the fresh air, nature voice together with hot spring. The decoration of hot spring is more and more fashion. They decorate with huge splash-ink painting and broadcast soul music to let you relax completely. One hotel near the Lake could also see the firework.

As our tour said that Hokkado has various scenery against different seasons, we can visit it more than once. Moreover, I really like the experience this time, I love to take a trip again to Hokkado even in the same season.
